At Coulson's, we have a powerful multi-system CAD-CAM lab (see our list of CAD-CAM applications below). With the help of our CAD-CAM system, we create machining programs that help us efficiently manufacture your product, and we offer our customers intricate and versatile design services.

All research, design, and fabrication is done in-house by skilled machinists who design parts using our CAD system. Our CAD machining programs are then transferred from our CAD-CAM lab workstations and the production procedures are implemented by CAM on our machines. List of CAD-CAM Applications

BRIDGEPORT EZ-CAM EZ-MILL 6.2: This application is used for 2-axis programming for our Bridgeport Interact 2 CNC Milling machines. EZ-CAM EZ-Mill is a 2-dimensional CAD-CAM package used for programming 2-axis milling machines. This means that as a customer, you are able to supply us with your own drawing files; your geo, DXF, IGS, 2D files are easily imported, decreasing lead time. All our machinists can operate EZ-Mill.
BRIDGEPORT EZ-CAM EZ-EDM 6.0: This application is used for 2-axis programming for our wire EDM.
EZ-CAM EZ-EDM: This application is a 4-axis CAD-CAM programming package used for 2 and 4-axis and wire EDM projects.
CT ESPRITE V7.+: This application is used for 4-axis taper programmng for our wire EDM
EGS FEATURE MILL V3.0: This application is used for 2-1/2 axis programming of all of our CNC Milling machines.
EGS FEATURE CAM 3D V5.1: This application is used for 3-axis programming for our Bridgeport Interact 316 and Okuma Cadet Mate. Allows imports of multiple file types, including Autocad solids.
AUTODESK MECHANICAL DESKTOP 4.0: This application is design software used to create CAD drawings for import to our cam systems, design, and development.
